How to install a RAM in a MAC computer

I need some information on installing RAM in a MAC computer. I had not done this before but I think this is not so tough. Can anyone list some different types of methods by which I can configure RAM in the system. This not limited to a single type of computer. There are more different models. This is just for my information.

You want to install the RAM in the MAC computer it is very easy to install the RAM in the system in which you are using the MAC. You have to see only that some safety measures should be taken, so that you can avoid the problem or the damage. After you had upgrade it with the help of the Apple guide. After that you have to select the product which you like and that also from the drop down list. Before you do all this you have to read the instruction which is given in detail. And you can also get the graphical instruction from the inside cover how to install the RAM. iMAC is the best example for this.

If you want to see the video in it then you can see it. You have to upgrade the video, you have to see that you are doing the right thing, Then you can also check the OWC's to upgrade the video section which will be having the detail of the small video. You can also do this from the home page. From the home page select the link of the Tech Center and go for that.

If you are pushing the RAM to the socket, then you are not able to see what you are doing. You have to see that the slot in the RAM connector should match the key or the button of the socket. If you are pushing it in it will go in up to 1 inch and stop. That is not it has installed, you have to push it to 1/8" (2mm) then it will contacts the pins.

If in your machine you are using the flat socket then you have to see the angle of the RAM into. The same you have to see that it match the socket. After that you hold the RAM about 30-45 degree angle and push it to the connector into the socket. IT should be seated in the pins properly. The RAM should be parallel to the socket.
