Problem in installing microphone driver

Hi All,

I am using microphone from couple of months. Recently I am getting trouble while using this microphone. It's not working properly. Somebody told me that you might have deleted the microphone driver.
I don't how to overcome this, Is anyone know how can I reinstall the microphone driver? I would appreciate your any help.

I think you should test the microphone hardware for this problem.To check the whether microphone is working properly or not, you should do the following:

1. Open the control panel >>
2. Select the sound >>
3. select the voice tab >>
4. Then select the test hardware.

Hi Friends,
Did you confirm that you have uninstalled the microphone driver? If your machine has the microphone driver , then there may be chances that the "Mute" option of sound properties may be disabled. Please check if this option already selected then you need to uncheck it . Please do this then check if microphone is working or not. Let me know if your microphone problem get resolved by this or not.

I am using the microphone of "Logitech ". I am also frustrated because of the same microphone problem. But thing is that my microphone is working for some time and after some time it stops working. I don't know is it problem of the microphone driver or anything else. I have also tried to adjust the microphone setting from the control panel ,but not yet got any solution over this.

Hi , Which microphone do you have ? You need to visit to official website of your microphone manufacturer to get the proper microphone driver.
Then download the microphone driver from this website and install it on your computer system. You will also get manual for how to install the microphone driver from this website. After installation set the proper "sound recording or volume" setting.

As per your solution I have downloaded the microphone driver from the website of my microphones manufactures. As you mentioned I also got the manual for how to install the microphone driver over this site. Then I adjusted the sound as well as the recording setting for proper working. By default the "Mute" option was selected I also deselected that. Right I don't have any issue with my microphone.
