Compaq S530 desktop Slow booting

I am having the Compaq desktop PC at my home.The model number is Compaq S530. The problem with this PC is that it takes about 15-20 Minutes to BOOT (start-up process) and come till the desktop screen. This is very slow. even the processes of the PC is very slow.The task manager of my PC is not working. I am getting this problem from past one month. What should i do to resolve this problem?

Install the antivirus application and remove all the threats from your system and reboot again. If the problem is still not solved by removing the viruses from your system then this can be the problem of some hardware connections.
