Hp compaq tablet pc's issues with windows 7

HI. I have purchased a HP compaq tablet pc a few months ago. It is been installed with windows 7 as the operating system and the problem am facing is that the touch pad feature of the pc is not functioning well. The buttons also not working well. Is it due to the upgradation of my operating system. Please suggest.

You need to install the utility for the system to the compatibility mode running under windows 7. The operating system may need to be reconfigure in order to make the function to work properly.
