Well as your systems is not able to work or function the touch pad feature of the pc it is because of the compatibility mode feature not supportive with the system. You need to install the utility for the system to the compatibility mode running under windows 7. The operating system may need to be reconfigure in order to make the function to work properly. Check out for the same. This should help.

This issue basically tends to be a problem associated with the compatibility. You need to make the things proper in order to work for it. Try downgrading your operating system and run hem using vista or windows xp. This should enable to function as the drivers would not require upgradation and may be very much compatible with the downgraded version of the operating system. Hopefully this will lend your systems touchpad to function.

A complete trouble shoot process or in other words a formatting might work for the same. You need to carry on the process by removing all the contents from the hard disk drives and also making new partitions and recreating the system files by installing the windows again. Just take a step after installing the windows you need to reinstall all the drivers from the utility disc. Check out for the change then.
