    problem with USB PCI card

    Hi friends ,
I recently format my computer with windows xp due to some virus problem .Then i dictate that I have some serious problem with my computer's 5 port Usb 2.0 high speed card using VIA VT6212L chipset.I installed it as normally and booted as specify. It works nice for that day when i start my computer at next day it hangs for while stating that no mouse or keyboard are detected. So I plug mouse and keyboard into a small USB hub and put that in a spare port an it boots up, and the speakers also plugged into the PCI card. That is what strikes me as odd, the speakers work. I can move the mouse and keyboard over after I have booted and they work, obviously as this how I am posting. I have tried it in another slot and that didn't help.
I want to why this happening?
    Please help me?
    Thank you.

    Hey dude,
don,t panic about that it seems normal .It may happened normally when you are not connected your PCI card correctly .So do one thing disconnect your PCI card plug it properly then again boot up the computer .
If you still getting the same problem then it might happened that your PCI card become unusable and it's time to take new one.
buy only that PCI card that suite your Motherboard.

    Hi,
This problem arise when some BIOS setting are change. This problem can be fixed by you own and do not need to called any hardware professional.
First start your computer normally when it boot up continuously click "delete" key unless you go into BIOS set up
Then tried to find "halt on" option .It might be found in input/output peripheral setting .
Then change it to "Halt on all errors except keyboard".
After making the setting, click on "save and exit".
It will restart your computer with current setting .
I hope this will help you to overcome the problem.

    hi,
this are normal hardware problem that arises very often ,try to find out why these problem are arises ,There are some simple steps that can help you to know why this problem are arises.
1.First replace your old keyboard with another one that you know works properly. Then start your computer again ,If new keyboard works fine then then it means that problem is in old keyboard.
This is same in case of mouse.
2.If it doesn't work try to go into BIOS setup . There is a secion for
keyboard and mouse make sure that it is enabled.
3.If it is disable then your keyboard and mouse will not work after boot up.
If it is already enabled, then it would be the port for the keyboard that
is having the problem. Then do one think take your CPU to hardware professional and fix it.
