hp 9110 scanner not working With HP DIRECTOR

Hello

I have a hp 9110 installed on my windows xp and everything seem to works fine except when I try scanned by going to "HP DIRECTOR" , I have this error message CLR error 80004005 The program will not terminate , can you tell me what can be done to solve this problem , thanks in advance

This error occurs most frequently when the HP Director is in Compatibility Mode. Follow the steps below to resolve this issue.

• Right-click the HP Director icon on the main screen, then click Properties .
• On the Compatibility tab, uncheck the Run this program in compatibility mode for: option.
• Click Apply , then click OK .
• Try to open HP Director again.

Right click on the hp director programs .exe file then goto properties, click on compatibility. Uncheck “ Run this program in compatibility mode for” Click apply, and then OK. or Try this goto control panel go to the Add/Remove Programs icon and scroll down it and delete every program that has anything to do with your printer. You may have to restart your computer when you finish. Then you can reinstall your printer or all-in-one.
