Windows 7 lets you arrange your windows in an intelligent way with the help of Smart Window Arrangement. Press Windows 7 Start menu and then type "regedit" in Run item in order to open Windows registry editor. Well, find the following path "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop", set "WindowArrangement" key value to 0 by right click this item. Set WindowArrangementActive to 0, reboot, and your windows will behave just as it always did. Save all the changes, restart your computer and you will find the Window Arrangement on Windows 7 is disabled.
Windows 7 has a feature that allows you to minimize a window by dragging it down and maximize it by dragging it up. Open Start menu and type regedit in the search box provided at the bottom of the Start menu. Click on the regedit link, In the Registry Editor thus opened, click to expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop given in the left pane. Navigate to WindowsArrangementActive in the right pane as highlighted above and double click it. In the Edit String dialogue window thus opened, change the value to 0 and click OK button.
I will suggest you to download the following registry registration file to merge the value directly: Enable-Windows-7-Snap.reg. Then you will just Simply double click the Enable-Windows-7-Snap.reg to allow Snap to automatically maximize, restore, and arrange window when moved to edge of screen. It’s also possible to enable or disable Snap Window Arrangement feature through Windows 7 GUI desktop, specifically through the Ease Of Access Center.
