D-VHS for Windows Vista Media Center

    Hi,
I have a D-VHS player which I want to connect it to my Media Center. I have some empty tapes and movies also. I had connected it and Windows shows a new hardware found but cannot install it completely and so it does not work properly. I am using JVC HM-DH3000U D-Theater in my system. Does anyone knows the driver for the same. Please send the link for the same. Thanks in advance.

The D-Vhs player which are using is nice product and it is awesome for a home theater system. But I doubt weather it will work with media center. Go to the below link and download the latest firmware. Run a update and try back again. Other thing VHS players are expensive solution for a home theater system. Many of them are incompatible with other devices.

If it is detected by Windows then there you need a appropriate driver to make it work. First right click on My Computer and then select Properties. Go to Hardware > Device manager. In the list right click on the hardware and select properties, go to drivers tab. Click on update drivers. Let windows search online for the relevant drivers. If you are enough lucky you will get a proper update for the same.

My D-VHS player works fine. I have a Windows XP Media Center edition. I had simply connected it and then updated the latest firmware. I doubt about the Vista Edition. I do not know that weather it has the update for the Vista Edition. Just go to official site of your hardware and try to located under Customer support column. You can see new updates there. Download then and install it.
