    HP p1505 not responding

    I have a HP P1505 printer , i'm trying to print it with remotely...all the permissions are given. And drivers are also installed properly. Previously it was working without any problem but now i can see the printer icon in remote client but i can't prin with it any more. On both terminals XP is running. Please help

    It can be the printer faulty, also make sure that printer working fine in local network.

    Have you tried the system restore to the date when it was working fine? make sure that drivers are installed on both the end. Can you do a file transfer on the between your remote client and your home pc ?

    Here is user manual for HP LaserJet P1505 Printer series , see if you making any mistakes.

    Have you tried by deleting the printer and adding it again? as said in above replies first make sure that its not the printer faulty . This printer needs to be configured using hp-setup to function correctly, the Help tools do not take care off this. The automatic printer detection and configuration (plug 'n print) does not install the firmware that is required for this printer to work.
