Cable Modem Keeps Restarting

Hello , i have motorola Cable Modem , i dont know what is the Cause of the problem but the modem Keep Rebooting and restarting Every now and then , Can you tell me What Can be the Cause of the problem and solution to solve this problem thanks in advance for your Help

try to unplug a few hours left, and then reconnect it. alternatively Call your ISP and tell them what happened. it could be a firmware problem. You might want to check the modems log (if it has one) to try and find the problem. It might be related to your operating system something related to service pack 4.

it could be Due to outdated usb Drivers To update the USB drivers, go to Device Manager (Start / Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> Hardware -> Device Manager). Here, under USB controller update all the drivers that can be updated (double click on the device -> driver -> update the driver, and of course allow windows to connect to windows update ).

A modem session allows you to set the modem directly . To log on modem when no connection is active, go to Settings / Modem / Terminal. This option opens a dialog that lets perform interactive configuration of the modem. Try typing ATZ (which resets your modem). You should get an OK response from the modem. goto File / Close to close the session.and restart everything
