Buy a New Memorex DVD Rw

I had borrowed a Memorex DVD writer from my friend for burning my old videos. The issue here is that the DVD drive is detected properly by Windows XP but when I burn the disc it gives out error. I think the drive is properly installed in my system. I am using a lightscribe disc of the same company. If I want to buy a complete pack of disc then which one will be the best deal for me. Any suggestion really appreciated.

I think your DVD drive needs a drive update. Do this. Right click on My Computer and select Properties. Then go to Hardware tab and click on Device Manager. In the list right click on the DVD Drive and select uninstall. Now restart your system back again. Then Windows will detect the DVD disc. Just ensure that you are connected to the internet. Windows will search for the appropriate driver for the disc. Then after installation again restart your system and try to burn the disc again.

There can be both a hardware and software issue. Have you tried the same thing with a different burning software. If not then just try it. Other thing Memorex has a wide range of disc. If you can visit the site you will get more details. According to me 16x DVD-R. The DVD offers you a 4.7 GB space. It comes in pack of 5, 10 to 100. The smallest pack of 2 disc cost $1.99 but the the pack of 100 disc cost $54.99. Best buy a 50 pack tote for $17.99

I am using a Dual Layer disc. The Dual layer comes in a pack of 25 pieces. The Disc offers a space upto 9.4GB. So if it matters in more space and less cost then this pack is fine. The cost for the same is around $27.99. The best feature of this product is that stores a large amount of data and offers more durability. The disc has a great playback compatibility with DVD player and DVD drives.
