A DVD+R is a write-once optical disc with 4.7 GB or 4.377.The DVD+R format is divergent from the DVD-R format. Hybrid drives that can handle both, often labeled DVD±RW, are very popular since there is not a single standard for recordable DVDs.DVD-R is a DVD recordable format. A DVD-R typically has a storage capacity of 4.71 GB

DVD-R was the first DVD recording format released compatible with standalone DVD Players.DVD-R is a non-rewritable format also it is mostly compatible with all DVD Players. DVD+R is a non-rewritable format and it is compatible with about 89% of all DVD Players and DVD-ROM.it supports single side 4.37 GB and double side 8.75 GB .
Good option for burning is use Nero and and its menu option you dont need to worry about dvd-r, dvd+r as all recent dvd writer supports it so dont worry to burn your disk.
What is the difference between dvd- and dvd+ is the basic and confusing question where dvd+ uses good material for manufacture which help it to read data faster so dvd+ is faster
I also uses nero burner.. actually i really don't know the differences between DVD+ and DVD- it really doesn't matter much with nero.
