Information on Dell Dimension 4400

My friend wants to sell his desktop computer. He is having Dell Dell Dimension 4400 pc. I am quiet interested in his offer. But before that I want to ask that weather is it a proper machine which meets the new age requirement. I am not sure about the configuration as I am not a tech guy but atleast I can get a rough idea about the system.

It is a good starter pc for new users. As the model is outdated one Dell has launched much more new models after that. It has 1.7 Ghz Pentium 4 processor. It supports SDRAM. The maximum upgrade limit is 2GB. Other than this it has 17" monitor with integrated GeForce graphic card with 64mb of support. Go in the market and figure out the price of current desktop pc's with their configuration and then compare. According to me the latest model has much more than what it has.

Dell Dimension 4400 is a old model with Pentium 4 type processor. The new CPU in the market currently is C2D Intel. I will consider a reasonable rate by keeping in mind that it is much costlier to upgrade. Although it is a P4 machine which quiet fast and easy to perform all the traditional user action. You play games, movies, audio, etc.

All in all it is the best suitable solution for the users who want to enjoy computing. But thinking about a reasonable amount. You can search for new pc price anywhere. Then compare the specification and then the upgrade point. According to me it better you should buy only if the price is not much high. Because just by adding some amount you can get a new one.
