How many btu for small one bedroom

hi ,
Im thinking about investing in a AC my bedroom my room is at last floor and in summer sunlight comes directly inside making room hot and for other time its making too cold so looking unit for LAN events with cooler and heater .i want to know how many BTUs does going to burn in such case .room space is 600sqrft ? how BTU is got calculated for Air Conditioner ?
