suggest me Wireless mouse and keyboard for my notebook

Hello friends,
I've HP DV6226tx notebook.

I want to buy a good wireless mouse and keyboard.

I've visited few shops and seen microsoft and logitech with only 6ft range.

I was told iball has upto 30ft range and price is 1450/- INR & 3 yrs warranty.

Suggest me which one i should buy? iball is a good one? or other?
mention with range of wireless.

It should run smooth at lower limit of range too..

I own the iBall one. Rnage is very good. tested it from around 6m. Could not go furthur because i was already out of my room.

Mouse is exceptional and has the DPI switching switch which is useful in games.
Keyboard is the exact opposite, very low build qaulity. Keys are loose esp the enter key that often gets stuck. Disconnects quite often and you have to move the keyboard here and there.

I have used a wired logitech keyboard and the quality is much better. No idea about the wireless one though. They say that range is only 3m for the logitech one as it uses 40Mhz like microsoft products.

Any 2.4Ghz one will give you around 10m of range and also consume less power i.e. battery.

I've purchased i-ball combo wireless keyboard and mouse for 1450/- INR.
i want to know if i need to remove cells everytime when i dont use it or i can keep it inside for both keyboard and mouse?
As if as soon as i place cells inside mouse, it shows red light even if i dont plug infrared in usb..keyboard doesnt show any light..
And wht's apprx cell life if i use daily 1-2hour only?

I Had wireless keyboard and mouse but experienced was not much pleasant specially due to mouse as mouse continuously crunches battery power so key board works around 2 and more month where mouse works less than month

I have a wireless PS2 controller, and i always remove remove the cells from it . because the red light really irritating and i think it will save my cells life . i didn't remove cell from my controller for days,, but no issue with them till now .

Yeah! Thats the best idea if you wanna be a part to fight energy crisis. Well use the chargeable batteries like Duracell or Energizer, that will help in the long run.
