FPS problems with a powerful machine

    Good evening

    Wish you'll help:

    My old machine:

    HP Pavilion
    Pentium 4 CPU 2.53 Ghz
    NVidia GeForce FX 5700
    1 GB of Ram

I turn on WoW (World of Warcraft, which is played on the net) at 3 Fps, unfortunately he was too old refuses any added RAM fluid. What pushed me to make up a machine with a new computer.

    New machine:

    Window XP
AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core Processor 6400 + 3.21 Ghz
    NVidia GeForce 8500 GT
    2 GB of Ram

Normally the seller told me that the machine should run good, but the result after installing the game gives me a nice Fps 1 ... Which is less than my previous so that the hardware is more powerful.

Thank you for all the help.

    Hello,

If you have most powerful machine market not mean you have the max fps!

To have more fps make some adjustment in terms of texture depth of field, vsync etc. .. more thing you have a display of less FPS. namely a PC to another the result will not be the same will know why! and seeks the command console to see more fps if it exists.

The first thing that can help free up space, reduce temp files and actually reduce the times to scan with other tools is CCleaner. This utility is free and can remove a lot of temp/junk files, along with any potential spyware located in your temporary files as well. The other benefit is, your scan times with antivirus software and other scanners will be reduced since you will have less files that need to be scanned. The registery cleaner is optional for advance users.

Make sure your pc is free of spyware, malware and viruses. Most of these tools can be scanned in Safe Mode if the scanning process cannot be completed under normal Windows circumstances. Running them in Safe Mode will further remove issues that normally run in memory and cannot be removed otherwise.

Here is the recommended configuration for WOW:

    • Windows 2000/XP:
    • Intel Pentium IV 1.5 GHz or AMD XP 1500 +
    • 1024 MB RAM
    • 3D graphics card with 64 MB hardware support Transform and Lighting, such as NVIDIA GeForce ™ 5700 or higher
    • DirectX 9.0c (included) and driver compatible
    • Internet broadband
