I am in the process of installing a new hard disk (WD Caviar Green 500GB) disk onto my pc (mother board :ASUSTeK Computer Inc. K8V-MX). I am actually cloning my old hard disk on to this new one.
My problem is this, I have been able to clone everything from my old hard disk on to my new WD, I can get the BIOS to see the new disk but when I unplug the old disk and put the new in its place the computer won't boot !
The only jumper setting that will work with the computer is 5/6 "enables 1.5GB PHY"
