    automatic IDE configuration problem

    hello everybody.

    I was doing some video conversion while after it the performance of my pc started degrading badly application were unresponsive and whein i restart pc We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start succesfully then again when i restart it give me error performing automatic IDE configuration and it hang there . please help me solve this problem

    this seem to be your the error with your Floppy drive, to access your setup press f2 on startup and check the settings there. windows xp SP3 has obviously has nothing to do with it I also this that the Battery on your motherboard would be dead . This can be replaced by yourself, as most Pc batterys are CR2032 and quite cheap to buy. When you replace it run set again and save your settings including the correct time.

    if your pc gives drive error message the first time you boot your computer after you install an IDE drive, your disk drive would not with the automatic drive-type detect feature. Press Alt-d in any hard drive field to set the hard drive auto configuration feature. During POST, the computer scans the IDE channels for supported devices and generates a summary message. For example, if the computer detects that a hard drive is connected to the Primary channel and that a CD drive is connected to the Secondary channel, it generates the following message
