I have Dell laptop with 80gb HD & preloaded vista home premium.
I will be thankful if any one answer my questions.
    1. can such upgradation be possible ?
    2. If yes ,then How can I keep my old legal vista in new HD as legal OP?

Yes it is possible to replace the HD of laptop. You'll also need some software that will clone the old drive. Cloning turns your new drive into an exact replica of the old one, so all you have to do is swap it in and boot up. You'll also need a way to attach the new hard drive to the laptop.
