    USB ports are blocked in windows XP

    Hello all,

    I have a PC running Microsoft windows XP but I have a big problem with my USB ports, there are five, and I can not use them as I want ... Let me explain, each no longer works with the first device I plugged ... So problem is like that the first only works with the printer, the second with the webcam, the third with MP3 players that I have even more devices but i dont know each port are block with certain devices they were connected to ?

    What to do? and how to solve this problem ? pls Help Thanks in advance

    Hello ,
    You can Check in Device Manager Whether Your Usb Are Port are Configured or Not To Check Goto Control panel Then Administrative tools , in Administrative tools Select Computer Management There select Device Manager then usb Controller See if there any Excalamtion Mark.

    There is a small program that test the USB ports
    USBView is a free utility from Microsoft that displays the USB connection tree and shows the USB devices that are connected to it together with their configuration data. This is very useful for debugging USB enumeration errors. USBView runs under Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP.
