Hard disc is not working properly

i have samsung 80 GB hard disk. i purchased it in april 2004. and now warranty is out of date.
the problem is that when i started my pc, it has been restarted again and again and sometimes it shows that it can't read file in windows/system32 and repair it but i have installed so many times windows xp but nothing is good for me.

i have 5 partitions in my hard disk and i have installed window xp on every partition. but until now window xp works fine for some hours and after that window is not started again.

can anyone help me out what's the problem exactly occurring with my hard disk?
is it has bad sectors or anything else?
i have no idea regarding this?

hi hariharan ,i think your harddisk is not a problem for your mentioned errors
just format the "active drive" C and reinstall the OS ,this may rectify your problems.
