Aston2 Menu opens the new line of Aston2 products. It completely replaces regular start menu and can be customized and filled with different widgets. Aston2 Menu is skinnable, supports animation, has flexible configuration and is very convenient.

Aston2 Planned Features.

Aston2 Skin WYSIWYG-like Editor (a tool for skin creation/editing).
An intuitive GUI setup tool (a tool which will allow you to add/remove/enable/disable/setup widgets and other elements via a convenient dialog and will also provide an easy way to save and apply themes).
Widget Palette (a tool which will allow adding widgets easily by means of drag'n'drop).
Script support: widgets are planned to be able to support scripts. This feature will be implemented for scriptable widgets only. All the scriptable widgets will be protected by anti-virus script security policy. (If a new theme contains scriptable widgets, the scripts will have no access to the file system and Internet. To grant such access to a script, its security settings should be configured accordingly.)
Additional Widgets: RSS-news, currency info, battery state (for notebooks), other useful trifles (notes, stickers, mail checker).
Video hardware accelerator effects support.
Improved Security Policy, which will provide flexible configuration of user permissions: to start applications via Aston2, to add/remove widgets, to configure widgets, to create/remove/rename desktop icons, to move panels, etc.

handy lil prog. i love the way it puts things in alphabetical order...there are some pretty nice skins too. about as heavy on recources as vistart,vistastart.for me this works best...and you can customize,one dosnt have to have the weather or clock or calandar to show....i give it a strong 4 stars and would recommend it.
