One of the most annoying feature on Windows Vista is the User Account Control (UAC) feature.they serve a very good purpose of stopping unauthorized access to system files and settings, it can get simply annoying! Here are the simple steps to disable it:-

    1. Click on the "Start" icon on the taskbar. Go to Control Panel

    2. Once the control panel is open click into the search box at the top right of the Control Panel window and type "UAC" without the quotes.

    3. One result will appear labeled "User Accounts".
Click the text under it that says, "Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off."

    4. Simply uncheck the box that says, "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer."

Then click "OK" and you are running User Account Control (UAC) free!

    5. If at any time you wish to reactivate User Account Control (UAC) simply repeat the steps listed except check the box that says, "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer.".

    You are done
