Hi guys,, I am a Windows Vista User. One of my friend is having an additional clock on his desktop and i also wanted to that. Can any of you could help me out ?
Well you have seen two clocks on friends desktop but i would like to tell that Vista can display up to three clocks in case you need to know the time in more than one time zone. One for the local time, and two for the time in other time zones of your choice. to add multiple clocks, just follow this steps;-
1. Open the Control Panel
2. Click on the Date and Time icon.
3. Click on the Additional Clocks tab.
4. Check Show this clock to add a clock
.
5. Click on the Select time zone drop down arrow and select one from the list you want displayed on this clock.
6. Enter a display name for this clock.
7. Click OK.
Thats it,, now enjoy two zone time at your desktop..![]()
To add a second clock to the System Tray to keep track of additional time zones, Go through this steps:-
- Double click the clock within the System Tray.
- Click Date and Time Settings.
- Select the Additional Clocks tab.
- Click Show this clock and use the drop down arrow to select the proper time zone.
- Click OK.
You can view the time for the additional time zone you selected by clicking the time in the System Tray.
Thanks guys.. for the tip. It was very necessary for me as i travel in my time zone with my netbook.![]()
