    Image Catalogs

I am looking for a JPEG file that I ordered on the basis of the image, ie I have a folder where there are 1000 photos for example. Of these 1000 photos, there are 6 shots of the same landscape. The nomenclature of the photos will not let me sort them according to this criterion, the only one that can follow is a visual management of photos.

I would know if you know any program for catalog photos depending on the view of them, or compare the information embedded within the JPEGs.

I do not know if I understood you, but I understand you want a program to catalog and it is the image? We interpret that? If so ... You have years to make this possible.

I guess that refers to the EXIF information, which is the "trace" left of all digital cameras with files .Jpeg normally. Can search in Google. There are hundreds of options for programs that read this information so that more or less let you sort based on keywords: XnView, Microsoft Expression Media, Adobe Bridge, ACDSee, etc, etc ... almost any decent cataloguer.

The only program that does something like that (looks expensive for the sort) is the iPhoto'09 mac, which is available now, but no version of Windows.

Need to analyze if the landscape is complicated, the only thing I can think of is that there would be a possibility with something similar to the applications that make photo mosaics. Find photos with the same tones of color to form, which might in principle. Now that the order in folders or something ... is more complicated.

Imagedupeless, wonderful, I use images to find duplicates within megagalerias. I think that lets you record your thumbnails in the galleries and work with them.

Try IMatch. But it is very comprehensive and has many options that you have to spend some time learning.
