Simple 3-d software from illustrator

Is there a program that is a simple way to manipulate an illustrator doc and make it 3-d

Illustrator has a built in 3D function. It is admittedly very simple, but it depends on how much you need, you may want. Elaborate a little more accurate?

I only have illustrator 10 - and has not afford CS3. It is a sketch of a room viewed from the front as I'd like a little more to get any depth of.
