Paste text in the image

I just can not get it to work, image is ok, click on the icon A and placing it where the text should be, writes the text and press apply, but then it fuss, the text is surrounded with red squares, 6 plus 1 and I just can not get it away.

Go into Selections, choose Select None or select another tool, then click on the top left hand.

Just click somewhere else or some other tools (you still have the Text tool activated).
It is because you can still move the text that is marked.

Once the text is surrounded by a red square, you can move it with your arrow keys to go where it should be. You can also use the mouse to move it. Once it is there where it should be, press enter. You can then edit or move by selecting your text in a window layer.
