You might be already aware of new "Aero Peek" feature in Windows 7, if you are not aware then let us give you a little idea about it. "Aero Peek" has replaced the old "Show Desktop" feature in Windows 7. It can be found as a small rectangle present at last in Windows 7 taskbar. When you hover the mouse cursor over it, it allows you to peek behind all open windows by hiding all windows and showing only outlines of all windows.
After Snap Aero and Aero Shake was inevitable on Windows Vista / XP get the functionality of Aero Peek introduced by Microsoft in Windows 7 ... or something very similar.
How many of you know, well, this is another of those elements designed to slightly improve the user experience in every day work. Something useful only to a certain extent, in short. But you know, we need to imitate every single element in this new system "made in Redmond", so here's the new utility Aero Peek.
Its purpose? In Windows 7 is to be able to quickly switch between windows (thanks to the previews in the new taskbar) and replace the traditional link "show desktop", allowing the user to see its virtual desk, through the open windows (Processed in the rectangles completely transparent) and to interact with all the elements that compose (ie icons and gadgets).
For this transposition in Windows Vista / XP, however, was taken into consideration only the latter. In fact, the program once installed (you'll need .Net Framework 3.5) and clicked on its icon in the notification area, the windows become completely transparent, but you can not interact with the items on your desktop and the rest Feature is absent.
In a nutshell, if you intend to turn right now your system into the new Windows Seven, simply capture this utility. Otherwise, wait and be perfected and completed.
