irql not less or equal

irql not less or equal

I am using a Dell laptop and whenever I either go into hibernate or standby mode, then I get an error message of irql_not_less_or_equal with blue screen. There is no driver associated with it, only this message and a memory address is shown. I think that it is a device driver but where do I start to look? Please help

You can download the microsoft hotfix for fixing this issue, that are, kb889673, kb909095 and kb914028. Download it directly from the microsoft website.

You will have to post the complete Stop Error Report. For that disable automatic restart on system failure. So, right click on my computer and then choose Properties > Advanced > Start-Up and Recovery > System Failure and then uncheck box before Automatically Restart. You can also check the Event Viewer for more information on the error, check the below link for same:
