    Incorrect progressline - MS Project

    Hi everyone,

I`ve created a project in MS Project 2003 and later went on in MS Project 2007. After this conversion I wanted to display my progressline. This created a completely straight vertical line . So I investigated what was wrong. I copied the data from the baseline into startdate1/enddate1 and after this I copied the data back into the baseline-colomns. This created a baseline, but an incorrect one. These are the symptoms:
    - some tasks that are not finished will display it`s progress at 100% of the baseline
    - some tasks that nog have started yet, do show progress on the baseline
(I`ve added an example of this situation in the attachment)

The only way I get a correct progressline so far is to re-create the baseline, one line at a time (I`ve got a project of 3000 lines, so ).

Can you help me identify the problem and possibly have the solution for me? I`d be very grateful

    Thanks you Need-Tos,

I`ve looked at your link, and this concerns another problem. (this problem limits itself to milestones). Have you got any other idea??

    Thanks anyway!

I think that you need to convert files and converters for opening Office Project 2007 files will be provided as part of Microsoft Office 2003 Service Pack 3 (SP3), which will be available during the last quarter of 2007. After upgrading to Office 2003 SP3, you will be able to open a Project 2007 file in Microsoft Office Project 2003 as a read-only file.

Until then, you can ask the person who created the file in Project 2007 to save the file in the Microsoft Project 2000 - 2003 MPP format.

Keep in mind that if you save a Project 2007 file to the Microsoft Project 2000 - 2003 MPP format, you can lose data in areas where Project 2007 contains enhanced functionality.

    Einstein 007,
Thanks for the information. The problem is not that I`m working in 2003 with a 2007-file. During a conversion there seems to be a bit of information lost. This seems to be some sort of "intelligence" in the baseline, which only gets back if the baseline is recreated.

    Eric B,
Thanks for your suggestion, but this is not the exact problem either, I am afraid! Nevertheless, it could be related ... I`ve tried, but the solution given, is nog working for me.

    Thanks anyway!
