You can try to follow the below method to fix this issue:
- You need to first of all copy and paste the below following text into your Notepad:
- After that save the file in the location anywhere on your computer, like desktop. Save this as "CDGONE.txt" file.
- After that click on Start and then in the search bar type regedit and then click in File and then try to use the Import option. Here you have to select the same "CDGONE.txt" file that you have copied and pasted on your desktop and just click on yes to all the warnings that you will get.
- Once it is done, then restart your computer and upon the next boot you will be able to see the CD/DVD drive again in your computer.
