    hi!
I have a problem! When i plug my pen drive to USB. It shows new hardware detected and performs the device installation and when it says your new hardware is ready to use i get the following error : "Please insert the disk and try again"

My first guess is your USB drive but since you said the controller is fine then it may be the power supply to your USB port is too low i suggest you to look at the BIOS settings. That may help you... All the best...!!

Right click My Computer and select Manage.
    Go to Device Manager.
Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers icon.
Select the Properties of any USB Universal Host Controller.
    Select the Advanced tab.
Check the box: "Don't tell me about USB errors."
