Is it possible to start bbm service on unlocked Blackberry curve 8520.

Hi I recently brought an unlocked Blackberry Curve 8520 and am using the pre-paid services of t-mobile which include e-mails, text messages, internet, etc. The phone is working very well and I am able to make and receive calls, use internet through GPRS and send text messages. But the only problem is with the BBM services. I am not sure whether it will be possible to start BBM services in my unlocked Blackberry Curve 8520. Does anyone have got any idea related to this matter? Please help me. Suggestion will be appreciated.

According to me it is possible to activate the bbm service in your or any unlocked Blackberry mobile phones. The only condition to activate it is that you must have the Blackberry Data Plan activated in your mobile number. The Blackberry Data Plan is a special plans to activate BBM services in any blackberry mobile and simple (plain) Internet Schemes/ Plans won’t allow you to activate the BBM services. For more details you should probably contact your service provider. They will be able to give you the exact rate for those plans.

Now, as I know that the bbm services will be working in my unlocked Blackberry curve 8520, will someone give me some more information on the services providers which offer BBM services in India and their respective plans to activate the bbm service in my blackberry curve 8520.
