Using RELIANCE SIM in VIRGIN Vkewl c5330 handset

Hi,

I bought a brand new VIRGIN VKEWL C5330 HUAWEI handset, i want to use this handset with RELIANCE CDMA SIM. I have surfed allover google, many reults showed me that it is possible but i could not figure out any proper replies dues to short cut english.

I would be grateful if somebody can guide me STEP-by STEP in fully worded proper english, rather than shortcut english. If any links, please paste it here.This will help everybody like me surfing in the internet for help.

I'm not aware of the virgin phone, your Reliance CDMA sim will work if your Virgin phone is a CDMA... But according to my knowledge, Virgin phones are network locked... So you need to unlock the phone from some phone repairs shop...! It will be costly... I can't talk much about it...! Its not legal... So find it your self...!

You have to unlock your phone to use Reliance SIM in your phone .

I am only asking how to unlock, what are the methods to implement & which software i can use to unlock the handset.

Awaiting step by step instructions. I have read somewhere while surfing that it is possible but could not figure out due to the poster's poor english.

I pressed the keys to the code you have mentioned, there are 3 options showing. It is System test.
1. Port set
2. S/W version
3. Data service

Which one do i select & what it will do? Please reply in detail.

I want RELIANCE SIM to work in Virgin Vkewl handset.
