    X110: LG launches its first netbook with HSDPA

    As suggested rumour, LG has made profit of the IFA in Berlin to launch officially in the race for netbooks first model with a 10-inch (1024 x 600 pixels), the X110, which adopts many of its competitors Atom Intel processor clocked at 1.6 GHz mounted on a chipset 945GSE. LG distinguishes itself, however, by integrating standard, and since its first model, a controller for managing a SIM card and connection to mobile networks type 3G and 3G + (HSDPA). Equipped with 512 MB or 1 GB of memory, the X110 also has a hard disk of 80 GB, an 802.11g WiFi module and a 100 Mbps Ethernet port.

    The LG Netbook will be available from late October 2008.
