Overclocking E8400 CPU

I have an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00GHz CPU and my motherboard is an ASUS P5N-D and I am unable to overclock it. In the BIOS, all the stuff is grayed out/locked and I cant seem to find any software for to the job either. Also I've checked SetFSB and it's missing my motherboard to put in a clock generator so I don't think I should use it. Any help would be awesome! Else I'm just gonna get a new CPU -.-

There are settings in BIOS under overclocking part to make the service enable. It might be disabled by default due to which you are not able to overclock the processor. If this still does not work then you will need to flash BIOS. This is a quiet risky job because if you perform this wrong then your mothebroard might get dead.
