Windows To Go is a feature in Windows 8 that allows the entire system to run from USB mass storage devices. we called this drive as thumb drive, usb drive or something else. with the help of this features you can run your windows 8 to the widows 7 and USB storage device plays major role onto it. is a new feature in Windows 8 that enables enterprise administrators to create USB drives containing complete, managed version that runs very well on only on your windows 7. hence with the help of this feature you can experience widnows 8 on windows 7 system.

Windows 8 is going to bring a truckload of new features when it arrives next year. currently it is not available for everyone but very soon it will be release on everywhere that works to run your windows 8 on widnows 7. this is really interesting and for accessing this features you need to wait some time this is necessary. In September 2011 Microsoft officially announced Windows To Go at the Build Conference but still it will not completely launched on every where. hence you need to wait some time for getting its correct version that works very well

Dubbed Windows To Go, it is effectively a Windows live CD. few of the third party site provides the dummy software download version of this Windows To Go which is simply looks like Windows live CD. hence i would be recommend to you for such its available download version for your windows 7. If you got this version, you need to copy it to USB drive and then connect this drive to windows 7. afetr that you need to run thsi application. this will be work to look like windows 8 wdp on your widnows 7 system.

As a safety measure designed to prevent data loss, Windows "freezes" the entire system if the USB drive is removed. hence remember this think if you got this software and you try to access this software on your windows 7. you need to safely turn off this option for solving your any future problem. try this and check what things happen onto it.

Windows To Go works both on USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 connections, and both on legacy BIOS and UEFI firmware. this is necessary that the drive you selected is being compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 connections. otherwise it makes problem during connectivity. This both the USB connections makes it possible for two USB devices to communicate with each other without requiring a separate USB host.

The first time Windows To Go boots on a particular computer, it installs the required drivers for that particular hardware and reboots. you need to find out this driver for your windows 7 system. then install this driver on your windows 7. then only you can make this combination. this is very complex process and hence i would be guide that use expert advice during this task.

Windows To Go is intended to allow enterprise administrators to provide users with an imaged version of Windows 8 that reflects the corporate desktop. it will not work on any account other than enterprise administrators. Administrators, commonly known as admins or sysops. It provides access to some of the great tools used by Network and System Administrators. hence first log on to the windows 7 system as a enterprise administrators. then try to make this connections.

This Windows To Go targeting the feature at Enterprise customers who may have several varied uses for portable versions of Windows. Windows 8 is going to bring a truckload of new features when it arrives next year. hence yes, you need to wait some times for getting its full version on you every system. i read few articles about it and they also suggest that the version is being still not fully launched on such type of system.

In essence, Windows to Go gives IT administrators a way to let their users “take home” a corporate computer. yes this works on USB2.0 as well as USB 3.0 version for connectivity portable devices. Hence be sure that the drive you use is being compatible iwth this version. then understand that the device you choose is being comfortable with this system. for more ifnormation contact the microsoft site.
