Apple or Dell - which is better for Linux?

Hi, I am looking to get new laptop and I little bit confuse between the Apple and Dell laptop. I need to work on the Linux operating system. So, I do not need any 3D gaming or net surfing supporting laptop. Currently I need the laptop which able to run the Linux based program and it does not gives any hardware compatibility issue. The laptop should be work at least five years and it does not generate any issue in the future. Any type of suggestions will be appreciates.

Re: Apple or Dell - which is better for Linux?

Hey dude, I also faced this trouble in the last month and in that time I don?t able to select the best laptop in between this Apple and Dell laptop. My friend suggest me the Apple will provide so much extra kind of facility which will never presents in the Dell laptop. It provides the windows as well as UNIX type of operating system compatibility facility. In that time he use MacBook pro which is designed by the Apple corporations and install Linux on it. Then I purchased the same laptop and it doesn?t create any issue.

Hi, I also support this laptop because I operate this and the compatibility of this laptop with the Linux is so nice. Hence I think you also need to purchase these Apple corporations MacBook Pro laptop. The monitor size of this laptop is to be 13, 15, 17 inch and it contains 2.0, 2.3, 2.7 GHz processor. I bought the 2.7 GHz processor and 13 inch MacBook Pro laptop and I installed Linux on it. Last five month I used this OS and there is no issue occurred in this system.

I do not support your thought and I must tell you that if we compare the prize of the Apple and Dell laptop then the Dell laptop is cheaper than the Apple laptop. There are so many laptop presents in the market which supports the Linux OS. So, as per mine thinking you need to check the configurations of the laptop. Then also check its compatibility with the Linux operating system and then take the decision of purchasing the laptop.

Hi, I also support that the cost of the Dell laptop is cheap as compared to the Apple laptop. There are many Dell and Apple laptop model presents in the market and they are also support the Linux based operating system. The cost point of view, the Dell laptop is good but sometimes it gives the worst performance. So, mine suggestions is to be with the Apple laptop. It provides the better performance and it also contain inbuilt driver of the Linux operating system.

I would definitely go with the Mac. The performance of this is to be so good and still within two years it does not give any trouble. Then I should suggest you the MacBook Pro laptop and it also provide the inbuilt Linux supported driver. So, bought this laptop and then get the experience of this laptop. It also provides the GUI base facility and hence purchases this Apple corporations Mac laptop. It definitely fulfills your requirement.
