Windows Media Player 11 in Windows 7

Hi friends,

I have recently migrated from Windows Xp to Windows 7 and when i am trying to install windows Media player 11 it's not getting install on Windows 7. Does anyone know what would be the reason for it and i really want to install Windows Media player 11 on it because it's very good and user friendly as compared to others. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Till my knowledge in Windows 7 Windows Media player is being install by default and i guess Windows Media player 12 is much more better then Windows Media player 11 but if you still want to install it then you can definitely install on your system. But before that make sure you remove Windows Media player 12 before you install Windows media player 11. Hope this should work for you.

Thanks for replying me, i have try to do that too over here i am able to install Windows Media player 12, but when i try to install Windows Media player 11 over here it doesn't get install don't know why i am facing this issue. Does anyone facing such kind of issue in Windows 7.

I think you can install Windows Media player 11 on Windows 7 because one of my friend was able to install on this laptop. It might happen that some o the files might have got corrupted in that case i would suggest you to download Windows media player from it's original site and at the same time also check out the below links too.
