Window 7 on p4

I have downloaded windows 7 .Now i have computer quite old P4 1.70GHZ and 512MB + 128MB of RAM.on board VGA card so can some one tell me is it possible to install and work on my commuter with windows 7?

Looks terrible i dont think so there is any hope for you as windows basic requirement is quite high

1. 1GHz processor
2. 1GB of RAM
3. 16 GB of available disk space
4. Support for DirectX 9 with 128MB

hay nothing is impossible you have sufficient 1GHz processor congratulation make 16 GB disk space for windows and increase virtual memory of windows after installation,so install windows 7 today. and feel the difference.

yes that windows 7 can work on your pc as i have approx same configuration instead 1.7 i have 1.6ghz and windows 7 working on my pc the problem is you need some patience while some application starting as that is slow i short for mailing documentation it work fine.
