Windows 7 RC Download Available for TechNet and MSDN Subscribers

Microsoft has announced the download availability of Windows 7 Release Candidate (RC) for TechNet and MSDN subscriber. Windows 7 RC will be available to public on May 5 on the Microsoft download center.

Windows 7 RC comes with several new features and additions such as Windows XP Mode, Internet Explorer 8 final, Windows 7 upgrade advisor and Remote Media streaming.

If you are not a subscriber, no need to worry. Microsoft will release the same RC build to public on 5th May on Microsoft Download Center.

So finally the build fr the RC is 7100 after all. Well for subscribing to TechNet we have to pay bucks, better is lets wait for more for days.

This wait is really making windows 7 most popular operating system . This is really nice strategy by Microsoft to make windows 7 super-hit like windows xp. Wish they could do it for windows vista release.

Its seems that Microsoft servers not responding in proper way for the RC download or they got hang because of many download requests.
