office 2007 error 1311 E:\SKU011.CAB

I am having a windows Vista desktop and tying to install Office Home Premium 2007 that ends everytime with an error. Whenever I start the installation it gives me the following error after running for few minutes and quits:

Error 1311 file not found: E:\SKU011.CAB

As I am not a technician, don’t have any idea regarding this. Can anyone help me out fixing the same please ?

I would like to know whether you have any earlier office suite installed on your PC. If yes, you must remove it completely from the system and then install the newer version. Usually the error “1311 cannot locate source file” occurs when you are trying to install from network source but in such case the error should not have mentioned the drive letter F (if am correct).
