Best GPS Device Manufacturers

I am willing to get a GPS Device so I wanted to know which are the best GPS Device Manufacturers. I also wanted to know some of their latest products as well so I can narrow down my search. I have heard that tom-tom is the best one but by going through their review I have found people complaining about updates, saying their maps are mostly out dated and they take more time in coming with their latest map updates. What do you guys think about the same??? Any suggestions.

As far as I am aware Garmin ,TomTom and Magellan are the best GPS Device Manufacturers today. They are the leading ones and the top three in the market as far as their best products are concerned I think these 5 are the best one as compared to the other ones in the market. You can get any one of them without doubt.

I also wanted to add that there are updates issue with all of them. It is not actually an issue but updating the maps takes a lot of time as they have to feed the recent changes in their maps. I have been using TomTom GO Live 1535M and I will say that even though their updates are late they provide the best maps will all the recent changes.
