    Wifi limited connectivity

Hello, before yesterday I had a connection Internet which functioned about correctly; that I had configured without passing by orange CD. I thought that by using orange CD I could regulate some problems which I had despite everything (disconnection from time to time, low flow…)

The installation fails since I found myself with “a limited connectivity”, even by uninstall orange etc Cd.

I reinstalled Vista thinking that was going to solve the problem, and I find myself today with the same exit.

It there any fix for this?

    Thank you in advance.

You are sure not to have made typing errors in your key? (I had also this problem and it missed a letter in my key ) If not, your drivers are well installed?

    Re: Wifi limited connectivity

Have you actually "Connected" to the wireless network? In other words, have you run the wireless adapter's software, scanned for "Available Wireless Networks", found and highlighted the one that matches your router's SSID (network name) and selected the option to "Connect" to it? Once "connected", the wireless adapter should get its IP address by DHCP from the router and you should have internet access.

If that still doesn't work, try allocating fixed addresses to the new adapters. If the router's IP address is 192.168.1.1 give the new adapters addresses such as:

IP address - 192.168.1.50 (first laptop) and 192.168.1.52 (second laptop)

Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0 (same for both)

Default Gateway - 192.168.1.1 (the router's IP address)

DNS Server address - 192.168.1.1 (the router's IP address)
