    DDR & DDR2 are same?

    Hi,
    I just donk know why is it like this?
    Well i have 512DDR & my friend have 512 DDR2 ram are these both ram chips same?

    DDR stands for Double Data Rate. DDR1 and DDR2 are different versions of the architecture of DDR RAM. DDR2 is much faster then its previous architecture DDR1.

    the difference is just d speed..........
    ddr is old technology ddr2 is new.......ddr2 is more faster than ddr........
    more more less clock per sec means..........more speed.......dat's what goes .on between these two
