XFX GeForce 7800 GTX 512 SLI?

I have the XFX Geforce 7800 GTX 512th ... the version with 580 mhz ...
I have before me, a soon to buy, for SLI operation. The only problem is that I XFX 7800 GTX 512 to buy no more .. do not look at ebay ... so I wanted to ask whether my it is safe if I have a 7800 GTX 512 from another manufacturer for sli suppose ... . I have my current card to 610/1800 ?

The cards were from asus and Gainward.

It works, even cards with different clock rates, together and I had a 512MB EVGA 7800 GTX and a Point of View 512 7800 GTX Extreme Version operate together in SLI. Then the map in the top slot against the clock, so that both with the same clock speed running. That's why it makes sense the higher clocked in the top slot to operate.
