Re: Wireless keyboard and mouse not working

This is caused by the settings in your bios. It is called power management and needs to be increased.
Also check this: The Microsoft wireless keyboard or mouse does not respond as expected or responds intermittently

Re: Wireless keyboard and mouse not working

Try uninstalling all current keyboard and mouse drivers then reinstall drivers after you plugged in the keyboard and mouse make sure everything is connected and the box transmitting signal has its lights on. Check and make sure the receiver or transmitter is properly plugged in.

Re: Wireless keyboard and mouse not working

You have to press the connect button on the USB first then press the button on the Keyboard to sync. Some maker have software that will reconnect the keyboard. Try to look in Start =>programs. If your keyboard works, you can run windows with keyboard only.
Pressing Ctrl+Esc (or windows key, if available) will open the start menu. Direction arrows will move the selection in menus. tab will move you around icons, tabs, or fields. enter will act like a single or double click depending on what you have selected.
