    how to see a single 500GB partition?

    I have a hard disk meter Maxtor DiamondMax 22 500 GB 7200 RPM Serial ATA 32 MB II on my new motherboard P45 ZILENT and installing xp I realized that it recognizes only 127gb In selecting the partition to install and then in desktop, right click, it manages to show only 127 gb and nearby 333 gb is not there .can any one tell me ,,how to see a single 500GB partition?

    A partition system and a data partition. Thus, if re-install the operating system, you will not worry, your data will be on a different partition.

    at the beginning of the installation, you must choose to delete the C partition, then recreate it using all available space. Then it must be formatted in NTFS.

    You tried to change the value of the partition size?
