change fonts and size for Live Mail in Windows 7

I was previously using Windows XP and now recently have upgraded my pc to Windows 7 and I also use Windows Live Mail quite frequently. I am looking for a way to change the fonts and size in Windows Live Mail when I am sending a new email. This can be done manually but it is really hectic to do everytime. So, can anyone tell me how to customize it so I wont have to do it manually all the time? Thank you for any suggestions.

You can easily try to set the default font and its color permanently for new messages in Windows Live Mail, just follow the below steps:

1. Open Windows Live mail and then from its menu select Tools and then Options. You might need to hold the Alt key to get the menu bar.
2. After that you need to go to Compose tab and then under Compose Font, click on the Font settings, which can be found next to the Mail button.
3. Just select the best suited Font and Color for yourself and click ok.
4. The font will be now be the one that you set everytime.

If you have the Windows Live Mail 2011 version and the text is too small for you, then follow the below method to change the default font size while reading your email:

1. First of all try to open Windows Live Mail 2011.
2. After that you have to go to the Blue Button which is located on the top left side.
3. Now you need to choose Options and then select Mail
4. After that you can go to the Read tab and click the Fonts button
5. Lastly, you have to click Font Size on the drop down menu and then choose Larger or Largest option. Thats it.
