    Icons in system tray

    Hi there

    when i boot up my pc some icon appears in my system tray for doc. and rft files while I am not working on that it is closed ,,,,but it comes at system tray every time ,and I am unable to remove it from there ...plz help

    Cant you just right click on that particular file and exit it? What are those files anyways, please be more specific with your question. You can also uninstall those programs completely and then install that again and at the time of installation, do not select the file for quick icon placement.

    thx for replying ...no, It does not open with right-click to exit ....it stays there for no reason whenever i start my pc!!
    one icon is of notepad and the other is of my computer ,and my document at task bar , while these are not runnin or I am not working with or i never tried to open it ,but its stays there don know why?

    Well, try to hide them from the system track. You have not mentioned the operating system you are using. But in any of the OS, you can do this by right clicking on the taskbar > select properties > Customize. For more info, just go through these threads:
